Social Networking - or Your Own Website?

These days it seems like everyone and his dog are determined to be part of the big Internet explosion and have their own Website.

I was wondering why, and suddenly it came to me…

We all need to be recognized, and many of us have an urge to say to the world around us: “Here I am, look at me! This is who I am. This is what I do!”

Just consider all the so-called “social networking Websites” like Bebo (40 million registered users), Classmates (50 million registered users), Friendster (65 million registered users) and Facebook (more than 70 million registered users).

New social Websites are popping up almost every day, and soon we’ll all be part of the big, happy (?) worldwide Internet family.

However, social networks are one thing, but building and publishing a personal Website is fast becoming a must for a lot of people, particularly the young generation.

When you browse Internet sites you’ll see a lot of personal Websites where the Webmaster should have asked for a little help in the layout and general appearance of the site.

Building and publishing a Website is really not all that difficult, but I have found that a lot of Webmasters don’t have a clear understanding of some of the basic concepts like

* Domain names
* Web hosting and Web servers. (Ask what “DNS” is!)
* Formats for Web pages. Use of Web Templates
* Editing of Web pages
* Manipulation and optimization of images
* How to transfer files from a local hard disk to a server with a FTP-program

If you search Internet all this information is freely available, but it will take time to find the best sites.

The good news is that all you need to know about Web Building is available in a free eBook called “The Really Easy Web Building Guide”, and if you plan to start a Website - or know someone who is toying with the idea - this free ebook could be just what you were looking for!

The Really Easy Web Building Guide” doesn’t cost a red cent, and you can use it yourself, sell it, give it away, or use it as a bonus item.

With a price of -Zero- and full Master Resale Rights it doesn’t come any better than this!
Grab you eBook now, and in a few days you’ll be online with your very own Website.

See you soon on Internet!

  1. Skip Hire Says:

    It’s a tough choice. Both are saturated, so it is hard to eek out a niche or a chunk for yourself. Maybe there is something new on the horizon that’s not yet saturated.
